Mysuru, Sept. 30 -- The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) has issued a clarification with regard to demolition of alleged illegal houses at Gayathripuram yesterday.
In her clarification, MCC Commissioner M.K. Savitha said that the MCC had no role in the demolition as it was carried out by Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL).
Savitha also mentioned that MCC officials had only offered their assistance during the demolition drive.
