Mysuru, June 20 -- Alarmed by the fire accident at a restobar in Dattagalli on June 15 that claimed two lives and left six others injured, the City Police have begun holding meetings with stakeholders in the liquor, hotel and restaurant sectors to verify compliance with official regulations.

As part of the exercise, Vijayanagar Police Station Inspector Raviprasad chaired a meeting of bar and restaurant owners and managers, along with representatives of pubs and hotels operating within the station limits.
