Chamarajanagar, Sept. 29 -- In view of D.K. Shivakumar's first visit to Chamarajanagar as Chief Minister, the District Administration and Congress Party are making necessary preparations to ensure that CM's tour will be a smooth and successful affair.
The CM will depart from HAL Airport in Bengaluru at 10 am on Sept. 30 and reach Kollegal MGSV College Ground Helipad by 11 am. He will return to Bengaluru at 3 pm.
Jinxed district?
Chamarajanagar was long considered as a jinxed district and it was believed that the CMs who visited Chamarajanagar would lose their power. It was former CM Siddaramaiah, who erased this jinxed tag by visiting Chamarajanagar town more than 20 times as CM and other places in the district 40 times.
