Mysuru, July 12 -- MDA to develop open space near Kukkarahalli Lake into a park with walking path, children's play area & gym

The Mysuru Development Authority (MDA) has floated a fresh tender on the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal for the comprehensive redevelopment of 'Lalbagh', located near Kukkarahalli Lake on Bogadi Road, opposite the Dhobi Ghat.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 5 crore.

The site has long been referred to in official records as 'Lalbagh land'. It is between the University of Mysore Staff Quarters and the KPTCL Office on Rama Vilas Road, near Telugu Shetty's Hostel and a stormwater drain.
