Mysuru, Oct. 2 -- Stating that Mahatma Gandhi always propagated truth, non-violence and harmony among all religions and communities, District Minister Dr.YathindraSiddaramaiah said the society can live with peace and harmony only if Gandhiji's principles are followed.

He was speaking at the Gandhi Jayanti celebration organised jointly by the District Administration, MCC and Information and Public Relations Department at Town Hall in city this morning.

"Religions are like rivers which join one ocean. There should be no discrimination or disparity between communities in the name of religion", he pointed out.
