Mysuru, Sept. 24 -- As part of its State wide protest, the City and District BJP units took out a 'Mock funeral' procession, accusing the ruling Congress Government of pushing the State to bankruptcy, at Ramaswamy Circle this morning.

Addressing the party workers, City BJP President L. Nagendra alleged that the State was on the verge of bankruptcy, because of financial mismanagement by the ruling Congress.

"Though the Government announced a Rs. 10,000 crore grant for development of roads, the Finance Department has red flagged, stating that the Government is well short of money.
