Mysuru, Sept. 28 -- Maintaining that the SIR (Special Intensive Revision) of electoral rolls had taken place even under Congress Government, City BJP President L. Nagendra slammed the Congress for raising a hue and cry now over the SIR process taking place across the country.

Addressing a press meet at the BJP Office in Chamarajapuram here this morning, Nagendra, who is also a former MLA, said that the Congress, which earlier raised slogans such as 'vote chori' when SIR process began, is now targeting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar by seeking his resignation.
