Mysuru, June 17 -- In a move aimed at enhancing food safety and quality standards, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mysuru-based Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR-CFTRI) to integrate scientific methods into its food preparation and distribution systems.

The agreement, stated to be the first-of-its-kind in the temple sector in the country, was signed during the two-day RISE Conclave 2026 (Research, Innovation, Start-ups and Entrepreneurship) held in Bengaluru on June 13 and 14.
