Mysuru, Aug. 7 -- Ornaments, cash worth Rs. 5.91 lakh stolen
Burglars, who broke into the sanctum sanctorum of Chamundeshwari Temple at Chamundeshwari Railway Layout in Mysuru city have decamped with gold, silver ornaments and case, all valued at Rs. 5.91 lakh. A case has been registered at Metagalli Police Station.
According to the complaint, temple's chief priest H. Balakrishna had adorned the deity with gold ornaments and performed special rituals on Aug. 4 as part of Chamundeshwari Vardhanti.
