Mysuru, June 11 -- Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology (BHIO), Mysuru, will organise a blood donation camp on June 13 from 10 am to 5 pm at the hospital premises here as part of the observance of National Cancer Survivors Day.
The initiative aims to raise awareness about cancer survivorship and encourage voluntary blood donation to support patients undergoing treatment and others requiring lifesaving transfusions.
National Cancer Survivors Day is observed to honour the courage, resilience and achievements of cancer survivors while recognising the invaluable support provided by families, caregivers and healthcare professionals throughout their journey.
