Mysuru, Oct. 31 -- Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner M.K. Savitha has said that the bicycle track on Vishwamanava Double Road will be rebuilt after completion of the ongoing white-topping work.

"Before the white-topping work began, the DC held a meeting with PWD officials, who assured that the cycle track would be reconstructed after the work was completed. The MCC will also convene a meeting shortly," she said.

Mysuru Amateur Cycling Association Secretary Lokesh Narasimhachar said that the cycle tracks had been constructed merely as a formality, without consulting cyclists.
