Mysuru, Nov. 2 -- Mata Amritanandamayi on 2-day spiritual visit

Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, popularly known as 'Amma' or 'The Hugging Saint', began her two-day visit to Mysuru today with numerous programmes including satsang and spiritual sessions at Mata Amritanandamayi Mutt, Bogadi II Stage.

Her visit marks the 26th Varshika Utsava of the Brahmasthanam Temple and inauguration of 100-bedded block of Amritakripa Multispeciality Hospital, along with announcement of various welfare initiatives, including free surgeries, scholarships and financial assistance to underprivileged communities.
