Mysuru, Aug. 26 -- A case has been registered against a Traffic Policeman following a complaint over an alleged assault on a youth.
Based on the complaint to KR Sub-Division ACP from 29-year-old K. Srinivas of Gundurao Nagar, an FIR has been registered against Beerappa, attached to KR Traffic Police Station on Aug. 22.
In his complaint, Srinivas has stated that on June 18 at about 2 pm, while he was walking near JSS College on Ooty Road, KR Traffic Police personnel were conducting checking of vehicles, when he saw the Cops checking the two-wheeler of a person known to him.
