Mysuru, Sept. 27 -- 169 accidents, 97 deaths in 3 years on Bengaluru-Mysuru Highway

Twelve accident-prone black spots have been identified by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) along the 119-km Bengaluru-Mysuru National Highway-275.

These 12 black spots recorded a total of 169 accidents and 97 deaths between 2023 and 2025. Among the black spots, 10 are located in Mandya and two in Bengaluru South District (erstwhile Ramanagara) section.

According to NHAI data, Agralinganadoddi-Thylur, Maddur Exit and Kempanhalli near SK Group of Companies in Bengaluru South District have recorded the highest number of accidents among the identified black spots.
