Mysore/Mysuru, April 4 -- Clearances at Government and MCC levels have slowed down rollout
Nearly three lakh households in Mysuru city will be connected to Piped Natural Gas (PNG) over the next four to five years, Nitin, Vice President of Think Gas Private Limited, said recently.
Addressing a press conference at Hotel Sandesh The Prince, he said a 160-km steel pipeline has already been laid from Bidadi near Bengaluru to Mysuru to facilitate gas supply.
At present, 5,400 households and 14 industries in Mysuru are receiving piped gas. In total, 242 km of distribution pipeline has been laid in the city.
