Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) presided over a special meeting at the Ministry of Defence premises today (May 14) to discuss the long-term maintenance and serviceability of the Pettah Central Bus Stand. The meeting focused on implementing sustainable strategies to ensure the facility remains a well-managed and efficient hub for the commuting public.
During the discussion, the Defence Secretary stressed the importance of maintaining the existing infrastructure and modern facilities of the renovated bus stand to ensure long term serviceability and convenience for the commuting public.
