The Defence Secretary, Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd.), hosted a reception in honour of the Defence Secretary of Pakistan, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Muhammad Ali, on Saturday (04 July), following the successful conclusion of the 6th Pakistan-Sri Lanka Armed Forces Defence Dialogue.
Among those in attendance were the spouse of the Pakistan Defence Secretary, Mrs. Saadia Ali, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, the Navy Commander, Chiefs of Staf of the Army and Air Force, senior officials of the Ministry of Defence, officials of the Pakistan High Commission and other invited guests.
