Vietnamese, Russian universities sign more than 500 cooperation agreements
Hanoi, May 22 -- Chernyshenko released the above figure while delivering his remarks at the 3rd Conference of Rectors of Universities of Viet Nam and Russia, held in Ha Noi from May 22-23.
He also said that nearly 3,000 Vietnamese students are currently studying at various education establishments in Russia.
Addressing at the conference, Vietnamese Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc thanked Russia for having training thousands of Vietnamese engineers and experts over the past decades.
In recent years, Vietnamese and Russian universities have maintained strong partnerships in training, scientific research, and technological transfer, he noted.
