Hanoi, June 11 -- During his reception for JICA President Tanaka Akihiko in Ha Noi on Thursday, Prime Minister Le stressed that Japan remains Viet Nam's largest ODA.

Le urged JICA to work closely with Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and relevant agencies to identify feasible projects and accelerate the signing of an agreement to facilitate Japan's non-refundable aid projects.

He suggested JICA to beef up studies for a budget-support loan in AI and digital transformation, while expanding training programs for leadership and management personnel.

The Prime Minister also proposed JICA coordinate with Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities to formulate a cooperation portfolio for 2026-2030, including accelerating the signing of a loa...
