Hanoi, March 25 -- The campaign requires the involvement of the entire political system, armed forces, and society to accelerate the progress in this work.

This is considered as a special political mission as well as a meaningful act of gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for national independence, freedom, and the people's well-being.

The campaign will run from March 15, 2026 to July 27, 2027, with a mid-term review scheduled for late November 2026, after 250 days, and a final review expected in the fourth week of July 2027.

It targets to search for around 7,000 sets of remains, completing the collection of samples from unidentified graves and newly recovered remains, and conducting DNA analysis on approximately 18,000 samples...
