Viet Nam bans import of goods produced by forced labor

Hanoi, July 22 -- The Government has promulgated Decree No. 292/2026/ND-CP dated July 22, 2026 on detailed implementation of several articles of the Law on foreign trade management.

Specifically, Article 5 of Decree No. 292/2026/ND-CP on goods prohibited from export and import provides as follows:

1. Goods prohibited from export and import shall comply with the provisions of prevailing legal documents and the List of Goods prohibited from export and import prescribed in Appendix I promulgated together with this Decree.
