Hanoi, Oct. 12 -- The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the public holiday schedule for 2027, covering the Lunar New Year (Tet), National Day, and other major holidays.
The longest break will be for Tet, with civil servants and public employees scheduled to enjoy seven consecutive days off from February 4 to 10, including five statutory holidays and two compensatory days off.
For business sector, employers may, depending on their actual conditions, choose one of the following three options for the Tet holiday:
Option 1: One day off at the end of the Year of the Horse and four days off at the beginning of the Year of the Goat.
Option 2: Two days off at the end of the Year of the Horse and three days off at the beginning of the Year ...
