Hanoi, June 16 -- The air service reaffirms the carrier's commitment to expanding its international network and strengthening connectivity between Viet Nam and the Netherlands.
The inaugural flight, using wide-body Airbus A350 aircraft, departed from Ha Noi-based Noi Bai International Airport at 3:50 a.m. on June 16 with nearly 300 passengers on board.
After an estimated flight time of 12 hours, it is scheduled to arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The return flight departed at 2:00 p.m. local time on the same day.
Viet Nam Airlines will operate the Ha Noi-Amsterdam route with three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
