Hanoi, July 28 -- The top legislators reaffirmed that the two countries attach great importance and give top priority to their bilateral relationship, with parliamentary cooperation serving as a key pillar.

They pledged to closely work to effectively implement the commitments and agreements reached by their senior leaders, step up the exchange of delegations and, enhance the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

The legislators underlined the need to promote connectivity in transport infrastructure, border gates, logistics, and supply chains while facilitating trade and investment, with the goal of raising two-way trade to US$20 billion at an early date.
