Hanoi, July 20 -- During the session, the Central Committee will review the implementation of the Resolution adopted at the 14th National Party Congress, the Party building work, the development of the political system, and the national development in the new period.

In his opening remarks, General Secretary and President To Lam stressed that the 14th National Party Congress had set out the Party's guidelines, objectives, and major strategic orientations.

The third plenum must translate those strategic orientations into policy decisions that remove bottlenecks, unlock resources, and create new drivers of national development, he noted.
