Jakarta, June 18 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 18 June 2026, participated in the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, in Kazan, Russia, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia relations. The Summit adopted four outcome documents, namely: (i) the Kazan Declaration 2026 "ASEAN-Russian Federation: Unity in Diversity - 35 Years Together"; (ii) the Joint Statement of ASEAN and the Russian Federation on Energy Cooperation; (iii) the Joint Statement of ASEAN and the Russian Federation on Cultural Cooperation; and (iv) the Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN-Russian Federation Strategic Partnership (2026-2030).
