Jakarta, Oct. 14 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 14 October 2026, met with the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, H.E. Bakytzhan Sagintayev, on the sidelines of his working visit to Russia. They exchanged views on matters related to the global economic outlook as well as opportunities to further strengthen ASEAN-Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) cooperation. Both sides underscored the importance of strengthening practical and mutually beneficial cooperation in support of resilient, sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
