Jakarta, Dec. 11 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered a video message on the transformative potential of quantum technologies at the ASEAN Quantum Summit 2025, hosted by Malaysia. In his remarks, Dr. Kao underscored that globally, investment in quantum technologies has now surpassed USD 40 billion, with the market projected to grow from USD 1.3 billion in 2024 to nearly USD 10 billion by 2034, and quantum computing alone expected to reach USD 20 billion by 2030.
