Jakarta, June 23 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered remarks at the 19th Governing Board Meeting of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), held at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta.

In his remarks, Dr. Kao underscored the indispensable role of strategic foresight and evidence-based policymaking in driving the implementation of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and navigating an increasingly complex regional and global landscape. He also reaffirmed ERIA's valued contribution as a trusted knowledge partner in advancing ASEAN's policy agenda, including in support of follow-up actions to the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings.
