Jakarta, Oct. 15 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 15 October 2026, delivered a lecture at the MGIMO University in Moscow, Russian Federation. With the theme "ASEAN in the Evolving Regional and Global Developments," Dr. Kao highlighted ASEAN's role as a force for peace and stability, prosperity and the development and progress of its peoples amidst evolving regional and global challenges. He also underscored ASEAN's long-term vision under ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future and the importance of unity, adaptability and constructive engagement in realising a Resilient, Innovative, Dynamic and People-Centred ASEAN.
