Jakarta, Oct. 25 -- Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today witnessed the signing of the Instrument of Accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) by the Republic of Finland. The Instrument was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland on the margins of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The accession of Finland brings the number of High Contracting Parties to the TAC to 58. The signing signifies the partners' commitment to upholding the principles and values enshrined in the TAC.
