Hanoi, March 26 -- The above agreement was reached on March 25 at the second meeting of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV).
Dong Nai province is located in the Southeast region and forms part of the Southern Key Economic Zone. After merging with Binh Phuoc province in July 2025, the locality has a population of over 4.4 million, ranking third nationwide after Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City. It covers an area of 12,730 square kilometers, ranking ninth in the country.
