Hanoi, April 3 -- Speaking at a press conference in Ha Noi on April 3, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Van Hien announced the tentative agenda of the first session of the 16th National Assembly.

The session will begin with a preparatory meeting April 5, officially open on the next morning, and is expected to conclude on April 23, 2026.

During the session, legislators will review and decide on key organisational and personnel matters, which form the central focus of the meeting.

The legislature will also deliberate on eight draft laws, one draft resolution, and major issues related to socio-economic development, finance, state budget, supreme supervision, and other important matters.
