Hanoi, June 12 -- This is the 6th factory of Japan's Meiko company in Viet Nam, reflecting the company's strong trust in Viet Nam's business environment and development prospect.

This factory, with total investment capital of US$500 million, is expected to generate around USE$530 million in annual revenue and create about 2,000 jobs for local residents.

Addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung said Viet Nam targets to become a high middle-income country by 2030, and high-income, developed country by 2045.
