Hanoi, Aug. 25 -- According to Samsung Electronics' half-year report, its manufacturing units in Viet Nam, including smartphone, consumer electronics and display facilities, recorded combined revenue of approximately US$35.2 billion in the first half of 2026, up 21 percent year-on-year. Their combined net profit reached US$2.3 billion, an increase of 28 percent.

Samsung Electronics Viet Nam Thai Nguyen (SEVT), the corporation's largest operation in the country, which specializes in manufacturing mobile phones and telecommunications equipment, recorded revenue of approximately US$16.2 billion, up 22.4 percent. Net profit reached US$1.08 billion, an increase of 33.4 percent.
