How many items sold on Viet Nam's four major e-commerce platforms during Jan-Sept?

Hanoi, Oct. 30 -- According to a report by Metric.vn, total sales on these four platforms reached VND441.97 trillion (US$17.115 billion) in the first nine months of this year, up 44.47 percent year on year.

In the third quarter, total sales on the four e-commerce platforms hit VND150.38 trillion (US$5.823 billion), with 1.0891 billion items sold, witnessing respective growth of 45.16 percent in sales and 10.13 percent in sales volume.

The number of active stores on the platforms was estimated at around 661,200, up 16.74 percent.

Metric forecasted that sales across the four e-commerce platforms could achieve VND165.5 trillion (US$6.408 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2026, with sales volume projected at approximately 1.1023 billion item...
