Hanoi, April 9 -- Last year, Viet Nam's GDP grew 8.02 percent year-on-year while GDP per capital reached US$5,026 from US$4,700 in 2024, according to the National Statistics Office.

The Government will strive to maintain annually GDP growth rate of at least 10 percent between 2026 and 2030, said Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen.

The Government also plans to increase the length of expressways to around 5,000km by the end of this decade from 3,345km in 2025, he added.

It will remain committed to accelerating the reform of administrative procedures with a goal to turn Viet Nam into one of three ASEAN countries with the best business environment by 2028, he added./.
