Hanoi, May 14 -- This is part of the recently-issued digital technology industry development program for the 2026-2030 period, with a vision to 2045.
Under the program, by 2030, Viet Nam will gain at least US$55 billion per year from exporting digital technology products and services made by Vietnamese digital technology enterprises, with an average annual growth rate of at least 30 percent.
The nation will strive to have 100,000 digital technology enterprises and train a workforce of over 3 million people in the digital technology industry.
By 2045, Viet Nam aims to become a country with a developed digital technology industry, emerging as a leading digital technology hub in the region and among the world's top groups.
