Hanoi, Oct. 21 -- Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has signed Decision No. 2001/QD-TTg approving a plan for implementing the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers.

Under the plan, the Ministry of Home Affairs was tasked with developing, upgrading, and operating the database on Vietnamese guest workers, as well as connecting and sharing data to support data-driven management and supervision.

The database will be upgraded in accordance with the amended law, ensuring that each worker is managed through an identification code throughout the entire process, from candidate preparation and selection to departure, overseas employment, and return to Viet Nam.
