Jakarta, Nov. 3 -- H.E. San Lwin, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, delivered pre-recorded remarks at the opening of the 2026 ASEAN+3 Human Resource Development Forum in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, on 3 November 2026. In line with the Forum's theme "From Skills to Jobs: Building AI-Ready Workforces Across ASEAN+3," he highlighted ASEAN's priorities on digital competencies and AI literacy to support labour-market resilience. He also underscored the importance of using AI responsibly to enhance learning outcomes and decent work. He encouraged cooperation that complements ASEAN-led priorities and reflects Member States' levels of digital readiness and labour-market conditions.
