New Delhi, July 27 -- Every day, approximately 1,500 young Nepalis leave the country to work abroad. Nepal's unemployment rate stands at 10.47 percent, while youth unemployment (ages 15-24) is 20.56 percent, consequently youth migration remains high. It is not only the unemployed who are leaving; many working professionals also depart, not just for financial reasons, but because they cannot find growth opportunities, their ideas are ignored, and they do not feel respected.

Beyond economic factors, leadership failure in both the public and private sectors plays a major role in this migration.
