Hyderabad, July 3 -- A 26-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room under the Langar Houz police station limits in Hyderabad in the early hours of Friday, July 3, prompting an investigation into the events leading to her death.

The deceased was identified as Renuka, a resident of Alwal. Police said she was married, had a child and was employed at a restaurant and pub in the city.

According to investigators, Renuka checked into a hotel in Langar Houz along with a man on Wednesday at around 3 am. Police said the man left the hotel at approximately 10.30 pm on Thursday, while Renuka remained in the room.
