Madinah City, Nov. 7 -- Rain fell across various parts of Madinah on Saturday morning, November 7, including the area surrounding the Prophet's Mosque, as Saudi Arabia issued a heavy rain warning for the region.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that light to moderate rainfall was recorded across Madinah, with overcast skies and the possibility of further showers.

The National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) forecast heavy rainfall across Madinah region, accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds, hail and flash floods. Strong winds could also stir up dust and sand, reducing horizontal visibility to near zero in some areas.
