Hyderabad, May 21 -- A final draft agreement between the United States and Iran has been reached through Pakistani mediation and could be announced within the next few hours, according to Iran's state news agency IRNA.

IRNA, citing reports carried by Al Arabiya and Iranian media outlets, said the proposed framework includes an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts, guarantees for freedom of navigation in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and a gradual lifting of sanctions in exchange for Iranian compliance with the terms of the agreement.
