Hyderabad, Sept. 7 -- The United Kingdom (UK) government is expected to announce a ban on trade with Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, September 8, in what could mark a significant shift in Britain's policy towards Israel's settlement programme.

Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband is expected to announce the measures, Middle East Eye (MEE) reported, citing Whitehall sources. The package is expected to include restrictions on goods produced in Israeli settlements and could extend to investment and other economic activity linked to them.
