Hyderabad, June 22 -- At least two people were injured in an accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) after a car crashed into a median and rammed another car on Monday, June 22.

The accident occurred under the Keesara Police Station limits after the driver reportedly fell asleep. After being alerted, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a hospital and initiated an investigation into the accident.

A case of causing injury due to rash and negligent driving was registered under section 125(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the police said.

Videos shared on social media show that the car was towed from the spot.
