Hyderabad, April 3 -- Telangana Jagruthi chief and former MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday, April 3, said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) name is now "free" and can be used by anyone.

Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, the president of Telangana Jagruthi said she would come before the people with a "new agenda under an old name." She stated that her political approach would follow the principles of Kothapalli Jayashankar and added that there is no external ideological influence on her party.

Kavitha also said that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is currently in a "dormant phase."
