Hyderabad, Oct. 23 -- The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) has suspended the licences of 106 medical shops, cancelled one licence and issued warnings to three establishments for violations relating to the sale of habit-forming drugs in the CURE region.

The action followed a special enforcement drive conducted on October 6 by the Drugs Wing of TG SAFE, in coordination with Enforcement Wing police personnel, in vulnerable areas across the CURE region to curb the illegal sale and diversion of habit-forming drugs.
