Hyderabad, April 3 -- The Telangana Transport Department has amassed a revenue of Rs 7,097 crore in the financial year 2025-206, achieving 83 per cent of its revenue target.

In a statement, the department said it recorded a growth of 2.70 per cent in revenue as compared to financial year 2024-25.

Breakdown of the revenue

Most of the revenue came from lifetime taxes, with Rs 4,714.63 crore followed by quarterly taxes worth Rs 961.02 crore and green tax collections of Rs 78.35 crore.

Apart from these, Rs 820.09 crore were received through fees and other charges. Challans and inspections also contributed Rs 310.80 and Rs 212.49 crore respectively.
