Hyderabad, Aug. 25 -- The Telangana government has begun the process of taking back 3.70 acres of prime land in Raidurg, valued at around Rs 600 crore, that was handed over free of cost to the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC) by the previous Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government, after the Supreme Court upheld the cancellation of the allotment.

The Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), which is the custodian of land in Raidurg and Knowledge City, has already started the process of resuming the parcel and will send its report to the government for further directions, sources said.

The state government cancelled the allotment last year, and the Supreme Court subsequently upheld the decision. Forma...
